What Tolerances Can Be Held?

Dielectric Manufacturing can meet most customer tolerances for plastic and metal parts, bearing in mind a variety of features, material, wall thickness, stability of the material being machined, and processes the material needs to go through.

Tolerances can be worked through with the customer on an individual basis.

We will also work with our customers in material selection and determination of the benefits of conversion of metal parts to plastic. Contact a Dielectric Manufacturing salesman to further discuss your specific application.

What Services Do You Offer Besides Fabrication and Machining?

At Dielectric Manufacturing, we have a variety of capabilities to offer our customers relating to precision plastic and metal parts and components: Turning, Milling, Drilling, Tapping, Punch Press, Welding, Assembly, Kitting, Inspection, Foam Cutting and Materials Cut to Size.

We also a number of value added capabilities such as: Part Labeling, Bar Coding, Silk Screening, Custom Packaging, Assembly – both mechanical and bonding, Insert Installation, Plastic Welding, Buffing and Flame Polishing, Kitting, Cold Forming and Thermoforming.

Is ABS Food Safe?

ABS plastic is generally safe for use in food containers or in other applications where the plastic comes in contact with food. However, if the plastic formula includes additives, the food-safe quality might come into question.

What Are Your Lead Times?

Lead times for plastic and metal parts and assemblies depend on material availability and quantity. Our standard lead time generally falls within 3-5 weeks, with quantities varying from one piece to thousands.

Is Dielectric Manufacturing ISO Certified?

Dielectric Manufacturing is ISO 2001:2015 certified through Perry Johnson Registrars. We are disciplined in our operating practices, and are diligent in quality control in the fabrication and machining of precision plastic and metal parts and components.

The operations of Centerline Machine, owned and operated by Dielectric Manufacturing, comply with the U.S. State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) regarding the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Do You Offer Inventory Management?

Dielectric Manufacturing offers customer stocking programs such as Kanban and Blanket Orders. We ship plastic and metal parts, components and assemblies through a variety of methods that help our customers maintain their operations uninterrupted.

We stock a variety of thermoplastics and thermosets in sheet, tube, rod angle and channel, as well as various metal materials, to help meet our customers’ needs.
