Inventory Services for Custom Fabricated Parts & Assemblies
At Dielectric Manufacturing, we tailor inventory management programs to meet the unique needs of our original equipment manufacturing customers. With our custom stocking programs, we ensure that parts and assemblies are available for you, as a cost-effective solution for your manufacturing processes.
Our services allow us to accommodate larger production runs that are planned around your actual usage, rather than one-off orders. The reliability starts with choosing the right program to meet the way your business orders and consumes parts. Not every stocking arrangement looks the same, and we have flexible accommodations to meet your needs.

Inventory Agreements vs. Blanket Orders
In most of the manufacturing world, inventory management programs break down into a few common approaches. At Dielectric, we structure ours around two:
- Inventory Agreements (minimum stock level programs)
- Blanket Orders
Both options solve the same basic problem of keeping parts available without requiring you to manage every order. But each option is a little different in how it breaks down.
Inventory Agreements
Minimum stock level programs
With an inventory agreement, Dielectric holds a minimum stock level of your parts, sized around the most efficient minimum order quantity (MOQ). You own the inventory that sits ready on our shelves. Our ERP system automatically issues replenishment jobs whenever stock falls below your agreed minimum, so parts are on hand exactly when you need them—without you tracking reorder points or issuing individual purchase orders.
Blanket Orders
Scheduled releases against one PO
Blanket ordering is another option. It’s a single, long-term purchase order with scheduled releases against it, as opposed to issuing a new PO for every shipment. It cuts down considerably on administrative overhead on both sides. This solution is especially ideal for parts you order on a predictable, recurring basis.
How a Stocking Program Can Cut 6-12 Weeks Off A Part's Lead Time
Typical lead time for a custom parts order stacks several steps: procuring the raw material, queuing up time for production, machine fabrication itself, and shipping. A stocking program helps you shorten that entire stack by moving materials and even finished parts ahead of actual demand.
Navy steps normally happen after your PO. In a stocking program they happen before it.
Because the work happens before you place your order, a well-structured stocking program can often shave 6 to 12 weeks off a part’s lead time. The exact range depends on the part and material, but the mechanism is the same—the steps that normally happen after the PO instead happen in advance.
How Inventory Agreements with Dielectric Improve On-Time Delivery
On-time delivery isn’t just a nice convenience. For our OEM customers, it protects their production schedule from upstream material delays that are out of their hands. That’s why our customers cite reliability most often as their reasons for working with Dielectric.
The practical payoff of a well-run inventory agreement is that parts are in stock because someone is actively managing that stock against your production needs, not just after the fact.
Dielectric Manufacturing has the skills and the equipment needed to reliably meet our needs.
