Ultem® Characteristics

Ultem® is the ideal thermoplastic choice for demanding, high-heat applications. This polyetherimide material can withstand continuous operating temperatures of 340° F while maintaining strength and rigidity. It is easily fabricated and bonded and offers excellent chemical resistance and high dielectric strength.

Ultem® is the high-performance polyetherimide material of choice for many aerospace, aircraft, medical and pharmaceutical applications. It offers exceptional mechanical properties and exhibits natural flame resistance and extremely low smoke generation.
