Polyethersulfone Characteristics
Polyethersulfone (PES) is a transparent, high-performance polymer known for its dimensional stability at high temperatures in both air and water.
At room temperature, PES is strong, rigid and ductile with excellent creep resistance. It offers good electrical properties and chemical resistance, and like Nylon, it is tough but notch sensitive.
PES is good for food and beverage processing, waste water recovery, and medical components.
Applications for Polyethersulfone
- Electrical/electronic applications
- Float switches
- Solenoid valve body
- Dairy connectors
- Manifolds
- Petrie dishes
