Tecaform AH UD Characteristics
TECAFORM® AH UD Blue is a food-grade plastic that is an ultra detectable (UD) acetal copolymer designed specifically for food contact applications in the food industry.
High-speed food production lines detect particulate matter in the food product in one of three ways: 1) using optical scanners that have the ability to readily detect blue materials, 2) metal detection equipment, or 3) X-ray equipment. All three methods are designed to help keep food safe from unwanted particulates. TECAFORM® AH UD blue is the first multi-detectable plastic that will show up regardless of the scanning method being used. Characteristics include:
